NON-SLIP
Through a new process, we have adopted unique materials different from traditional glazes, giving the surface an irregular texture and distinctive tactile feel. This not only enhances its aesthetic appeal but also provides exceptional anti-slip properties, with a slip resistance rating of up to R13, the highest in the industry.
GY TILES’s outdoor tiles prioritize aesthetics while maximizing slip resistance. By balancing finer particles with water-reactive anti-slip agents, the tiles create a suction effect between the surface and objects in contact when wet, increasing friction and ensuring safer walking conditions.
GY TILES outdoor tiles not only have a high slip resistance rating but also feature low water absorption, making them resistant to moss growth. Over time, they remain unaffected by moisture and mold, effectively reducing safety hazards. Even in extreme cold temperatures as low as -50 degrees Celsius, they remain stable and reliable, with no slipping or efflorescence.
HOMOGENEOUS BODY
The homogeneous series draws inspiration from nature, created by GY TILES’ s R&D team using advanced technology. Through upgrades in both the tile body and glaze techniques, and by incorporating a crucial granulation process, large particle specks in the full-body tile subtly emerge through the glaze. This interplay with the glaze’s texture and color enriches the tile’s overall depth.
Due to the extremely high firing temperatures, Guanyuan outdoor tiles do not fade over time. The intricate, smooth textures are naturally formed, offering the authentic feel of natural stone along with rich colors and a full-body visual effect. These tiles are harder and more durable, ensuring lasting quality
DRIPPING AND SEEPING GLAZE TECHNIQUE
With the innovative slip casting and penetrating glaze technique, we have achieved significant breakthroughs in realism, wear resistance, and anti-slip performance. The colors appear more natural, closely resembling natural stone while retaining the physical advantages of porcelain tiles.
The glaze is clear and natural, involving over eight processing stages. Without using inkjet printing, the glaze buildup effect is realistic, restoring the texture of natural stone. The glaze offers exceptional wear resistance, exceeding the durability of traditional inkjet glaze by 3 to 5 times. The surface wear resistance is rated at 6000 revolutions with visible wear at grade 4 (the testing process involves steel balls rotating 6000 times on the surface without damage).
LOW WATER ABSORPTION RATE
Water absorption is a core indicator of outdoor tile product quality, as it measures the percentage of water absorbed by pores, directly affecting product quality. The lower the water absorption rate, the higher the intrinsic stability and vitrification level of the outdoor tile. This results in better physical performance and less susceptibility to expansion and contraction due to climate changes. If the water absorption rate is not up to standard and the product absorbs too much moisture, it can lead to body expansion, making it prone to cracking or peeling.
GY TILES outdoor tiles use special production processes and raw material formulations to achieve a water absorption rate below 0.1%. This provides excellent heat resistance and frost resistance, ensuring durability and higher stability, enabling them to withstand both high temperatures and extreme cold without cracking, damage, or fading.
Additionally, tiles with low water absorption effectively block stains from penetrating, offering anti-stain and moisture-resistant properties. This results in resistance to dirt, strong acids, and alkalis, and prevents moss growth, making daily cleaning easy and hassle-free. Our tiles offer unlimited possibilities for space design while providing comprehensive safety for residents.
HIGH COMPRESSION RESISTANCE
GY TILES outdoor tiles are produced using large 10,000-ton presses and high-quality wear-resistant glazes, fired at temperatures above 1200℃. This process increases wear resistance by 20% compared to ordinary glazed tiles and enhances compressive strength.
GY TILES outdoor tiles are available in thicknesses up to 30mm, featuring high strength and density. They achieve a Mohs hardness of 7, a breaking strength of up to 27,000N, and a flexural strength of 45MPa, which is more than five times the strength of ordinary stone.
In practical use, the 30mm GY TILES outdoor tiles can withstand the weight and pressure of fire trucks without deformation or cracking, making them suitable for roads and streets frequently used by heavy trucks, as well as gas stations, parking lots(driveway), and automotive dealerships. This meets the diverse requirements of designers and construction teams.
